My name is Laurie Bennett, and I am a WAHM to 3 great kids:
Austin (DD-8), Braylin (DD-4), and Carter (DS-14 months). I am a
former school-teacher and proud Army wife to Drill Sgt. Dewey R
Bennett II. We are stationed at Fort Gordon in Augusta, GA.
I did not discover cloth diapering until I was pregnant with
Carter, and I instantly became hooked! After spending our entire
tax refund on diapers, I wasn't convincing DH that it was saving
us any money over using disposables, so I decided to start
making them myself. This led to an even greater
obsession...fabric!!!
Ever the over-achiever, I decided to start my own co-op for
diaper-making fabric so that I could choose the fabrics I needed
and get great prices on them. I got 50 members in 5 days, and we
are growing in number daily!
I'm so excited to be part of the growing CD community, and make
it a goal to convert local mothers over to cloth
diapering...with all of us advocating, it's bound to spread!!!
